Detailed Results
----------------------

The show kicks off with gold on the line as, after weeks of being humiliated by Alberto Del Rio, an angry “World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would challenge Alberto Del Rio, with Ricardo Rodriguez in his corner, for the World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Ricardo Rodriguez would get on the ring apron, but Big Show would scare Rodriguez off of the apron before tossing Del Rio’s ice bucket at the personal ring announcer. Later on in the match, Alberto Del Rio would manage to get the cross armbreaker locked onto Big Show for the second time in the match, but the giant was able to lift Del Rio up and slam the champion down, breaking out of the hold! Shortly after this, Ricardo Rodriguez again got on the ring apron and would get knocked down by Big Show, but as Big Show picks up the ice bucket and taunts Rodriguez with it, Del Rio would literally kick the bucket, using an enziguiri to send the metal bucket into Big Show’s head! Del Rio then locks in the cross armbreaker for a third time and, despite Big Show’s best efforts to reach the ropes or power out of the move, the giant would tap out, ensuring the victory and successful title defense for Alberto Del Rio!

The United States Championship was also on the line at Elimination Chamber as Antonio Cesaro would defend the United States Title against the man he injured on RAW, The Miz. During the match, The Miz would weaken the knee of Antonio Cesaro and would attempt to lock in the Figure-Four Leg Lock, but Cesaro would counter with a kick to the injured shoulder of The Miz and Miz would fall, knee-first, into a very ‘tender’ area on Cesaro. This would give Cesaro the opportunity to exaggerate the injury to the point of convincing the referee to disqualify The Miz for delivering a low blow, keeping the United States Title with Antonio Cesaro! After the match, an outraged Miz would deliver an actual low blow to the ‘boys’ of Cesaro before storming out of the ring.

Before entering his designated pod for the Elimination Chamber Match, “The Real American” Jack Swagger would allow his new manager and confidant, Zeb Colter, to speak. The war veteran says that, if Thomas Jefferson were alive to see what his country has become, he would be “ashamed”. Colter continues, saying he defended the United States with his “life” and he did not spend his time serving his country to see immigrants entering the country illegally. Colter then says that, when Jack Swagger wins the Chamber Match, it will be the beginning of a “Jack Swagger America”!

Then it was time for the Elimination Chamber Match to determine the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship with a title match at WrestleMania and, inside the Chamber, four randomly-selected Superstars will be locked inside the Chamber’s pods and two random Superstars will start the match. Then, every four minutes, a pod will be opened and the Superstar it holds will be entered into the match. Elimination occurs by pinfall or submission only and, whoever is the last man standing will earn their spot in one of the main events of WrestleMania and a shot at the World Heavyweight Title. “The Real American” Jack Swagger, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, “The Viper” Randy Orton, and one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, “The Big Red Machine” Kane, would be locked inside the Chamber’s four pods, leaving the six-time former World Champion Chris Jericho and the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan, to start the match! Early on in the match, Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan would battle their way out to the steel floor of the Elimination Chamber as Jericho launches Bryan into the steel chains that make up the Chamber’s walls.

As Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan continue their war, “The Real American” Jack Swagger is released from his pod, entering his first Elimination Chamber Match. It would not take long for Swagger to make an impact as Swagger takes it to Jericho before grinding Daniel Bryan’s skull into the steel on the outside. Swagger and Jericho would then wage war with Swagger repeatedly sending Jericho shoulder-first into the steel chains. The next man to enter the Chamber was the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kane, as Kane & Daniel Bryan briefly work together to send Swagger to the outside of the ring. However, Bryan would roll Kane up and try to eliminate “The Big Red Machine”, which would spark an argument between the tag champions with Kane refusing to “hug it out” with Daniel Bryan. The WWE Tag Team Champions inevitably square off like adversaries before Jericho and Swagger rejoin the fight. With no eliminations up to that point, the fifth man enters the Chamber Match as “The Viper” Randy Orton joins the fray. Orton immediately takes it to the existing participants, sending Swagger to the steel and taking Jericho down before dropping Kane with a dropkick and landing a suplex on Daniel Bryan. “The Viper” then pursues Kane to the outside, driving the skull of “The Big Red Machine” into the steel floor of the Chamber!

In a moment to remember, Randy Orton sets Jack Swagger up on the top turnbuckle as Chris Jericho does the same with Daniel Bryan as both Orton and Jericho deliver dueling superplexes to their victims! With everyone down in the ring, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry is let out of his pod and into the match where he wastes no time in annihilating everyone in his sight before focusing on Daniel Bryan, planting the tag champion with the World’s Strongest Slam en route to eliminating Bryan from the match! Mark Henry then turns his attention to Randy Orton and, without an ounce of remorse, Henry hurls Orton through one of the glass pods! The two big men in the match then square off as Kane collides with Mark Henry. Kane would take it to “The World’s Strongest Man”, but when Kane comes off of the top rope, Mark Henry catches Kane, dropping “The Big Red Machine” with the World’s Strongest Slam en route to eliminating Kane! Chris Jericho and Jack Swagger then form an unlikely alliance to combat Mark Henry, somehow managing to deliver a massive two-man suplex on the steel floor! Jericho and Swagger would then resume their battle, but when Jericho goes for the Lionsault on Swagger, Mark Henry snatches Jericho up and hurling Y2J into the steel wall of the Chamber! After tossing Jericho into Swagger, Mark Henry stacks up Jericho and Swagger before going for a splash off of the second rope, but, luckily, both men move out of the way. Swagger then delivers a big boot to Mark Henry, followed by Jericho with the Codebreaker, and Randy Orton makes an impactful return to the match, dropping Henry with the RKO en route to elimination the dominant “World’s Strongest Man”!

Despite his elimination, Mark Henry would lay waste to the remaining Chamber participants, laying Jericho, Swagger, and Orton out with the World’s Strongest Slam! As referees continue to try and get Mark Henry out of the ring, SmackDown General Manager Booker T and his assistant, Theodore Long, make their way into the Chamber as the GM is finally able to get Mark Henry to leave the Chamber. With only three men left, Jack Swagger holds his own against the two veterans, even managing to lock in the Patriot Act on both men, respectively. However, the third man would continue to break up the submissions and Orton would eventually gain the advantage, planting both Swagger and Jericho with a double DDT! Orton then plants Jericho with the RKO en route to eliminating Y2J and Swagger would spot an opening, surprisingly catching Orton with a roll-up to eliminate Orton and earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania!

After months of terrorizing the WWE, The Shield would meet “the sword” as Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns would have to deal with “The Sin City Cyborg” Ryback, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, and the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble Match, John Cena, in an explosive 6-Man Tag Match. However, Cena, Sheamus, & Ryback could not wait to get their hands on The Shield as they attack them before the match can even begin, dropping them with three suplexes in the center of the ring before the match is finally able to begin. Surprisingly, The Shield would isolate John Cena, allowing the trio to dominate much of the match, but when Cena was finally able to make the tag to Ryback, all hell would break loose as all six combatants would brawl. After taking Dean Ambrose out of the ring, Sheamus would exit the ring and, then, out of nowhere, Roman Reigns charges Sheamus, sending “The Celtic Warrior” crashing through the ringside barricade! Meanwhile, in the ring, Cena and Ryback would get the better of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as Cena plants Ambrose with the Attitude Adjustment, but with Rollins moments away from being the victim of Shell Shocked by Ryback, Roman Reigns would quickly return to the ring, blasting an unsuspecting Ryback with a Spear and, as Cena tangles with Reigns, Rollins lands on top of Ryback, pinning Ryback to win the match for The Shield!

With AJ Lee & Big E. Langston in tow, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Dolph Ziggler makes an appearance, saying that he was not even booked on the show and that he has stolen more shows than anyone in the Hall of Fame. However, Dolph’s tirade is interrupted by SmackDown General Manager Booker T, saying that Ziggler is “wrong” and he has found a Superstar who can do everything that Ziggler can do and more. Not only that, but Dolph will be facing this individual right now as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” would go one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. During the match, Kofi would knock Dolph to the outside and, as Big E. Langston helps Ziggler to his feet, Kofi dives to the outside, connecting with Langston. This riles up Langston as the big man gets on the ring apron, distracting the referee while AJ Lee delivers a slap to Kofi. However, Kofi is still able to land Trouble in Paradise on Ziggler, but just when Kofi is close to a victory, Big E. pulls Dolph out of the ring! Kofi then takes flight again, this time taking Langston off of his feet on the outside. However, Ziggler would survive the unique onslaught of Kofi Kingston and would hit the Zig Zag on Kofi en route to picking up the win. After the match, Big E. Langston would make it a long night for Kofi Kingston as Langston returns to the ring, showering Kofi with multiple shots to the mid-section before dropping Kofi with the Big Ending!

The Divas Title was on the line at Elimination Chamber as Kaitlyn defended the top prize of the Divas division against Tamina Snuka. In the end, Tamina Snuka would go for the Superfly Splash, but Kaitlyn would roll out of the way before hitting the Spear on Tamina en route to successfully retaining the Divas Title.

Then it was time for an epic rematch from the Royal Rumble as “The People’s WWE Champion” The Rock would defend the WWE Championship against the man who held it for 434 days and argues that he was “screwed” out of the title and still believes that he is the champion in the self-proclaimed “Best in the World” CM Punk, with Paul Heyman in his corner and The Rock’s WWE Title belt still in his possession, and, if The Rock gets disqualified or counted out, then he will lose the WWE Title to CM Punk. During the match, CM Punk would try to outsmart The Rock, slapping The Rock across the face in order to enrage The Rock to the point of getting himself disqualified, which would mean Rock losing the title. The Rock would narrowly avoid disqualification after drilling Punk with countless right hands, but after Punk spit in the face of the champion, Rock would lose it, taking Punk to the outside of the ring and bouncing his face off of the announce table, but still managing to avoid the disqualification. Later on in the match, with Paul Heyman distracting the referee, Punk takes The Rock to the outside, hitting The Rock’s own Rock Bottom on its innovator on top of the Spanish announce table. Despite this ploy, The Rock would still manage to get back into the ring before the ten-count. The Rock would somehow manage to fight back in the matchup, catching CM Punk with the Rock Bottom, but Punk was able to kick out! Shortly after this, Paul Heyman would draw the attention of the referee once again as the referee gets on the ring apron to argue with Heyman. Unfortunately for the referee, the match resumed in the ring and CM Punk would shove The Rock into the referee, who is knocked off of the ring apron! Meanwhile, in the ring, Punk hits the GTS on The Rock, but with the referee out, there is no one to count the pinfall!

A second referee then comes out as an EMT checks on the downed official, but the second referee checks on his colleague, despite the pleas by Heyman. Back in the ring, CM Punk goes for a second GTS, but The Rock wiggles out before hitting the spinebuster and the People’s Elbow. The Rock then goes for the pin on Punk and the second referee rushes into the ring, but Punk is able to kick out again! The Rock then goes after Punk again, but Punk rolls over the foot and ankle of the referee with the referee rolling to the outside of the ring to check on his leg. Punk then catches The Rock with a kick to the head, but the referee is unable to stand on the injured ankle. As an EMT checks on the second referee, CM Punk has Paul Heyman retrieve the WWE Title belt and, with Heyman holding The Rock in place, Punk goes for a shot with the title belt, but The Rock moves out of the way and Punk inadvertently strikes Heyman with the gold! The Rock then takes advantage, catching Punk with another Rock Bottom, finally securing the win and successfully retaining the WWE Championship, meaning that the WrestleMania main event is set as The Rock will defend the WWE Championship against his WrestleMania opponent from last year, John Cena!
