Chris Jericho To Re-Join Fozzy For Tour

Chris Jericho is advertised for tapings leading up to Wrestlemania 29 this year. He is also officially advertised for both Raw and Smackdown. There will be a break, however, as Jericho will join Fozzy for a tour of Australia beginning on February 23, 2013. As of this writing Jericho isn’t scheduled for the following WWE TV tapings during that time period:

* February 25th Raw in Dallas, TX

* February 26th Smackdown in Oklahoma City

* March 4th Raw in Buffalo, NY

* March 5th Smackdown in Albany, NY

* Jericho is scheduled for the March 9th Raw live event in Broomfield, CO.

WWE Main Event Results: February 6, 2013

* Sheamus def. Cody Rhodes via Brogue Kick.

* Damien Sandow def. Daniel Bryan via Terminus.

* The Funkadactyls def. Aksana & Tamina Snuka by Naomi pinning Aksana following a flying heel kick.

DETAILED RESULTS
--------------------------------

Before going one-on-one with Sheamus in the main attraction of Main Event, Cody Rhodes says that the upcoming Elimination Chamber Match is becoming a “comic work of improbable situations”. Michael Cole reminds Rhodes that he has a match with Sheamus, but Rhodes says that his match will not take place until they address the biggest issue in the WWE right now. Rhodes continues, saying that the six former World Champions that will compete in the Elimination Chamber Match are “failures”. Rhodes then grabs a steel chair, taking a seat in the middle of the ring, refusing to leave until SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes out there and puts him in the Elimination Chamber Match. However, Michael Cole tells Rhodes that Booker is not in the arena tonight, but Rhodes insists, telling Cole to text or email Booker to get him there. Rhodes’ opponent, Sheamus, then comes out, telling Rhodes that they have a match right now, so he should take a Brogue Kick “like a man” and give the people what they want to see. Rhodes refuses to budge, saying that unless his name is Booker T, he is not interested in talking to him. After doing his best impersonations of Booker T, Vickie Guerrero, and even WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, Sheamus gets a cheap-shot from Cody Rhodes, who quickly exits the ring.

The featured match on WWE Main Event would see “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus going one-on-one with “The Mustachioed Marvel” Cody Rhodes. In the end, it was Sheamus blasting Cody Rhodes with the Brogue Kick en route to picking up the win.

One-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions was in action on Main Event as Daniel Bryan went one-on-one with his former rival, “The Intellectual Savior of the Masses” Damien Sandow. During the match, Daniel Bryan’s tag team partner, Kane, would come out and, as payback for Bryan costing him his match on RAW, Kane comes out, setting off his ring pyro. This distracts Daniel Bryan long enough for Damien Sandow to take advantage, hitting the Terminus en route to picking up the win.

After a backstage incident between The Funkadactyls, Cameron & Naomi, and Aksana & Tamina Snuka, Brodus Clay & The Funkadactyls made their way to the ring, but Aksana & Tamina attack The Funkadactyls from behind, leading to an impromptu Divas tag match between The Funkadactyls and Aksana & Tamina Snuka. In an impressive showing from The Funkadactyls, it was Naomi hitting a flying heel kick on Aksana en route to picking up the win for her and Cameron.

The Rock vs John Cena II - Twice in A Lifetime

Rock vs Cena is a lazy reminder of WWE's reliability on part-time stars or the same stars. You can't completely blame them, but it doesn't have to be that way this time. Whether you love them or hate them, that night The Rock and John Cena did something special. The build, the hype, the promos, the jokes, the match. When it was all said and done, it truly was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. However, this time around, it's a different story.

I had already predicted John Cena a Royal Rumble winner as John Cena promised the WWE Universe to win the 30-men royal rumble match. When John Cena is serious and if he's after the title, mark his words very well plus there's always Vince behind him and supporting. We all know how WWE PG is going on these days. He get what he want since Cena is the face of the WWE and super heroes of kids. I also predicted that The Rock would beat C M Punk for the title and crown a new champion, so it happened that night. WWE is focusing to collide both The Rock and John cena at the grandest stage of em all WrestleMania one more time and it will be termed as " The Rock vs John Cena II - Twice in A Lifetime ". After watching Royal Rumble, I understand the storyline very well.

CM Punk is fresh off of a 434-day title reign, a great feud with The Rock and some of the best promos of his career. Punk/Rock and Punk/Cena were great feuds and matches, it would only make sense to add Punk to this main event. Adding Punk creates an air of mystery in regards to the outcome, and it freshens the buildup to the match. We have seen Cena vs Punk, we have seen Cena vs Rock, We also have seen Rock vs Punk at the rumble. Common now we fans want all 3 men colliding in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE title. Put all three together. However, CM Punk may not be available for this match due to his potential match with The Undertaker.

Streak vs Respect match

There's a lot of people talking about WrestleMania 29 everywhere. Its been saying that this year's WrestleMania 29 opponent for the Undertaker will be non other than the best in the world C M Punk. The big rumor among the internet wrestling community is Punk facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 with a chance to end the streak after establishing a streak of his own earlier. It would be an awesome build, I’m sure of it, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves or get too excited. It may not happen. It’s been only rumored by the internet wrestling media thus far, The Undertaker’s health keeping him out of WrestleMania 29 looks to be a real possibility. While at the end of the day, Vince and WWE has to be racking their brain figuring out how to replace the phenom on his marquee show. I believe that Punk and Taker could put on an unbelievable match. The possibilities with these two could be endless. Punk is on top of his game right now and has been for over a year. Putting the "best in the world" up against "the streak" seems like the perfect thing to do.

With the news that The Undertaker may not be available for WrestleMania 29, CM Punk’s opponent for the show became uncertain. If The Undertaker is in fact unable to work WrestleMania 29, there are not many options for CM Punk.
