WWE is currently in the process of finalizing which cities will host WrestleManias 31 (in 2015) and 32 (in 2016).
According to a report at MercuryNews.com, Santa Clara, California (outside San Francisco) and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are the finalists to host WrestleMania 31.
Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews and representatives from the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers are flying to WWE headquarters next week in an effort to lock in WrestleMania for the new Levi’s Stadium, which is still under construction and is opening for the 2014 NFL season.
If WWE chooses Philadelphia instead, WrestleMania 31 would take place from the outdoor Lincoln Financial Field, home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.
As for WrestleMania 32, Detroit’s Ford Field is currently the front runner to host that show.
WWE will be making a final decisions later this month and is expected to officially announce the venues in early 2014.
